Great game one of the World Series!! Having lived in KC for 10+ years Kris and I became Royals fans and it is good to see them back in the Series for the 2nd year in a row. So what better to have for supper than some baseball fare! Beer Brats, beans and potato salad.
The beer brats are simple to make and taste like you got them at the ballgame. First melt a couple tablespoons of butter in a skillet. Add some sliced onions and cook for about 5 minutes over medium heat.
Now nestle the brats down in the onions. For the brats I use ‘Stadium Brats’ from the local grocery store – Lunds – these are loaded with spices and super good.
Cover the brats with beer and bring to a boil. Once boiling, turn down to simmer and cook the brats for about 45 minutes. Turn the heat to low until ready to serve. Now it is time to grab a beer, a seat on the couch and watch some Royals baseball!!! Cheers.
