Roasting chicken the ‘beer can’ method always turns out a tasty, moist bird. Since going gluten free I no longer have cans of beer laying around so had to come up with a different solution. This gadget (found it on Amazon) is the perfect solution. With the tray it makes it easier to stand up the chicken and allows you to move it on and off the grill with ease. Another great feature is the can that comes with it. Now you can add any liquids you want – wine, apple cider, beer – to create different flavors. All parts are dishwasher safe so clean up is a breeze.
