It is all coming together now. We had a late day at work so just finished trimming the island out tonight. Kris and I really like the way it is looking! There is definitely a learning curve when it comes to cutting trim. I measured twice but still cut the final baseboard to short. Had to have Rindy bring me another board.
Once we finished the baseboard, the trim started going in:
I would cut the boards, Kris would add the glue and place then I would nail them on. We make a good team!
Wednesday we will fill in the nail holes and any gaps in the trim. Then it will be time to prime and paint. More to come………
